(14) Kitano Tenmangu Shrine &Kamishchiken Handicrafts Course
*Kitano Tenmangu Shrine
This shrine was build in 947 during Heian Period and is dedicated to the sprit of Sugawara Michizane, a famous scholar, who is revered as a good of learning and the literary art. A plum festival is held on Feb.25: a huge shrine market, called Tenjinsan, held on the 25 th of every month, is known for its countless open-air stalls.

Ryugenji Temple is known as Annex of Kawasaki daishi (since 1128) in Kanagawa Prefecture.This temple is located in Yamashina ward next to JR kyoto station.
We recommend you to visit the temple and feel a soul of Japan as well as the traditional spirit and see a beautiful kyoto land scape there.
You will traditional experience as show below.

1. We can see various of kinds of ceramic wares there and enjoy shopping at the area.
2. It is possible to see ceramic artisan's house as well as workshop.For instance,Tebineri and Etsuke there.
If you want to try experience, you are requested to make a reservatin at least 7days before visiting.
Every Saturday and Sunday,National holiday is closed. We can make a reservation for you in advance.
